Are you a social media expert with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement? We're looking for a dynamic Social Media Freelancer to manage and enhance digital content for a globally recognized institution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience crafting compelling social media strategies, this role is for you!

salary: $35 - $40 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Oversee and manage a team of Social Media Ambassadors
• Edit, enhance, and schedule content for major platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
• Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency across multiple campuses
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and flag potential issues
• Develop marketing creatives and conduct ad-hoc platform analysis

What You Bring

• strong experience in social media management (Sprout Social preferred)
• Skilled in content creation, editing, and engagement
• Ability to track social media metrics and optimize performance
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating campaigns
• Must be DC-based and available for occasional on-site work

Schedule: 4 hours per day. Weekdays and some weekends/evenings
