We are looking for a Skilled Laborer to join our team, specializing in interior construction for commercial tenant improvements (TI’s) and residential home renovations. This role involves hands-on work in framing, flooring, finishing carpentry, and general construction tasks, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in working on-site with trades, project managers, and subcontractors to deliver top-tier results.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial: Assist in the construction and finishing of office, retail, and other commercial interiors, including partition walls, flooring, millwork, carpentry, garbage disposal and demolition.
• Residential Renovations: Work on kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full-home remodels, ensuring precise installation and finishing.
• Framing & Drywall: Assist in construction of wood and metal stud framing, drywall boarding
• Flooring & Finishes: Help install a variety of flooring materials, including tiles, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl, along with trim, doors, and hardware.
• Demolition & Site Prep: Safely remove existing structures, prepare work areas, and ensure job sites are clean and organized.
• Material Handling & Setup: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist Tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed

Qualifications & Skills:
• 1+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential construction.
• Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of framing, drywall, flooring, and finishing work (preferred)
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings and blueprints. (preferred)
• Certification in WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid (an asset).
