We are hiring for multiple full-time, part-time, and flex Security Professional positions including Mobile Patrol, Standing Outdoor Post, and Roving Positions. Interested? What to Expect at the Event: On-the-spot interviews Same-day job offers for qualified candidates Meet our hiring team and learn more about career paths at Allied Universal Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent At least 21 years of age to attend the event Prefer at least 1 year of security, customer service, or military/law enforcement experience (varies by role) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid Driver's License and clean driving record for driving positions Ability to walk or stand for long periods in any weather condition Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Fully vaccinated or willing to be (required for specific sites) No visible tattoos or piercings (or be willing to cover them during work)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform security patrols of location grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Assist staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines) Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or out Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalent Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry (preferably security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, or corrections) Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication skills Problem solving skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Write informatively, clearly, and accurately Attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
