We are looking for a screener on our first shift. The Screener applies logos to products. He or she recognizes any blemishes in parts while completing the screening process. This position will also sand parts as necessary. They also coordinate and work closely with the upcoming shift to determine any needs that may arise regarding changeover.

Essential Functions:

1. Identifies any blemishes or imperfections in parts and repairs or sends back for re-work.
2. Attach logos precisely and identifies labels.
3. Adheres to all OSHA standard while using the screening chemicals and equipment.
4. Cleans all screens and screening tools as required.
5. Cleans the area upon completion of shift or periodically if necessary.
6. Notifies maintenance of issues with ventilation system or hand tools.
7. Presence in the workplace is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Artistic inclination preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with metric and measurement instruments preferred or ability to learn required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language for safety purposes in an understandable manner.
• May be required to work with or train new employees.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Working Conditions:Our production environment is typical for wood manufacturing and includes a variety of environmental elements including loud noise, dust, and aromas. While this is an indoor operation, temperatures will vary with the outdoor temperature and some areas of the shop may be hot or cold.Physical Requirements:

Production positions are physically demanding and may be strenuous. They are standing positions and include frequent walking, lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. There are a lot of body movements, including extending arms, grasping with hands, and flexing of wrists. There may be a lot of bending and twisting. Each position requires ongoing rotations of movements and workers must have the physicality to perform the essential functions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 150 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
