A-Line Staffing is now hiring Patient Registrars in Newton, NJ. The Patient Registrar would be working for a reputable medical facility and has career growth potential. This would be a full-time position, working 40+ hours per week.

Patient Registrar Compensation

• The pay for this position is $23.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Patient Registrar Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position includes a 1 11p - 7a FT shift, with 1 flexible position that can work as needed for both days and/or nights. Epic experience is strongly preferred.

Patient Registrar Responsibilities

• Provide immediate access for patients into the facility at several points of entry, establishing medical record numbers via proper search methods
• Verify insurance eligibility and accurately enter all patient demographic and insurance information into the electronic medical record
• Complete and process required patient documentation and provide patients and their representatives with required information per federal, state, and Joint Commission standards (e.g., Patient Bill of Rights, HIPAA Notice of Privacy, IMM letters)
• Contribute to the maintenance of important data integrity within the facility and serve as the entry point for the revenue cycle

Patient Registrar Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Medical terminology experience (highly preferred)
• Registration experience (preferred)
