Microbiology Lab Technician-Oklahoma City, OK

\n Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

\nKelly Science & Clinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth, starting in our Sample Preparation department, with potential for cross-training in other areas over time. \n Key Responsibilities: \n

\n\t
• Maintain accurate records of all quality activities as per Operating Procedures and test methods.\n\t
• Handle samples and conduct analyses according to established Operating Procedures and test methods.\n\t
• Maintain and verify laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.\n\t
• Report any equipment deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.\n\t
• Identify and document nonconformities using Corrective Action Requests.\n\t
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.\n\t
• Execute tasks and responsibilities to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.\n\t
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards.\n\t
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to the quality system and continuous improvement.\n\t
• Promote and maintain a positive team environment.\n\t
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.\n\t
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Technical Management.\n\t

\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• Associates degree (A.A./A.S.) or higher\n\t
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time\n\t
• Must be able to routinely lift 20-30 pounds and be comfortable with handling hot liquids.\n\t
• Experience with Windows PC and Microsoft Office\n\t
• Able to calculate basic math\n\t
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols.\n\t
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.\n\t
• Commitment to maintaining quality standards and continuous improvement.\n\t
• Experience working in fast-paced environments is a plus.\n
