Job Function:

• Develops nursing care plans and establishes care priorities through patient assessment.
\n
• Assists providers during examinations, testing, and treatments.
\n
• Coordinates multidisciplinary healthcare services and arranges diagnostic tests as ordered.
\n
• Triages patient inquiries and communicates test results.
\n
• Administers medications and injections as ordered, ensuring compliance with state laws and clinic guidelines.
\n
• Ensures infection control compliance within the practice.
\n
• Records medical information in patients' electronic medical records as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse (extensive RN experience may substitute for a BSN).

• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration

  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  \n
  • Infection Control Certificate
  \n
