Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager (Contract)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that enhance BWEL’s online presence, engage our community, and drive membership growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, have a deep understanding of the latest trends and tools, and possess a strong commitment to supporting Black women in leadership.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies that support BWEL’s business objectives and generate measurable return on investment.
  • Content Creation & Optimization: Create and optimize engaging content for various digital channels, including social media, email newsletters, and the BWEL website, to attract and engage our target audience.​
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising platforms. ​
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals such as ROI and KPIs, and optimize strategies based on insights. ​
  • Lead Generation & Community Engagement: Develop and execute lead-generation marketing activities, using analytics to optimize campaigns and ensure a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. ​
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators, designers, and program managers, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.​

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.​
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. ​
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with the ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments, and solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). ​
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints. ​
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement. ​

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension.​
  • Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience.​
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time, flexible schedule.​
  • Location: Remote (U.S.-based).​
