Job Description: Data Catalog Senior Analyst | 6+MONTHS | FORTUNE 500 | CHICAGO, IL (HYBRID - ONSITE) Local to Chicago preferred $80-$90 per hour (W2)

PURPOSE:

We are looking for an experienced data governance professional to assist with the roll-out of our data catalog product.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Shepherd teams through onboarding process, facilitate conducting UAT, and help upskill users
2. Refine roles and responsibilities and role-based security access requirements for users who require CRUD access
3. Continuously improve processes for business stakeholders to create, update, and delete business metadata
4. Assist data stewards/owners with defining glossary terms and provide ingestion support
5. Ensure adherence to data governance best practices
6. Develop operations administrative user guide and services catalog

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum five years experience in data governance or data analysis role
2. Proficient in implementing/managing data catalog products
3. Demonstrated understanding of metadata management, data governance, and lineage concepts
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Strong verbal and communication skills
6. Highly self-directed with the ability to multitask
7. Experience with Atlan preferred
