*Job Overview:*
Attalla Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA you will be responsible for performing direct resident care duties in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care-plan. Assist with promoting a compassionate, physical and psychosocial environment, as directed and under supervision by your supervisors.
*Position Details:*
We have availability for *fulltime* *(7a-7p) or (7p-7a) *. Fulltime schedules are rotating days and weekends - to be off every other weekend.
* Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
* Take vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
* Help patients with mobility and transfers
* Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
* Document patient interactions and care provided in medical records
*Qualifications:*
* Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state. Must maintain a current certification in the state throughout employment.
* Must achieve 12 hours on in-service education annually as required by federal regulation (as well as meet state requirements).
* Must have the ability to read and write in the English language and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish your job.
* Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
