Box Truck Driver
(Must have CDL)

Job description
We are looking for a new associate for our production department! We're looking for a CDL driver with hazmat endorsement, who can also help out in our warehouse when not on the road.

Responsibilities Include:

• Drive medium-sized box truck
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery – load, pack, wrap, label, ship
• Sort and place items on shelves according to size, type or product code
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe at all times
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a driver and warehouse worker
• Forklift experience
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Good communication, organization and time management skills
• High School Degree

Work Environment:

• First shift, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during workday
• Routinely uses office equipment – computers, phones, photocopiers
• Routinely uses warehouse equipment – hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers

Physical Demands Include:

• Reaching with hands and arms
• Using hands to prepare samples
• Talking or listening
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Standing for long periods of time
• Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Lifting or moving objects up to 100 lbs
• Withstand seasonal temperatures: hot in summer, cold in winter
